I’m Cheryl Hammonds, and I’m so glad you’re here.
If there’s one thing I hope you discover while visiting Chancellor of Hope, it’s that every word, every story, every greeting card, and every project begins with one purpose: to encourage hearts and inspire hope.
I am a proud South Carolina native who left home at the age of seventeen. At nineteen, I answered the call to serve my country as an airman in the United States Air Force. During my thirteen years of service, the incredible men and women whose dedication, sacrifice, and commitment helped shape my character and strengthened my values of integrity, resilience, and service to others.
Home & Purpose
After completing my military service, I returned home to South Carolina, where I focused on raising my son, reconnecting with family, and pursuing the dreams God had placed on my heart.
I have always found joy in encouraging others. Whether through a conversation, a handwritten card, or a story that reminds someone they are not alone, I believe words have the power to comfort, inspire, and restore hope.

Chancellor of Hope is more than a business — it’s the heart behind everything I create. Through novels, greeting cards, bookmarks, and future creative projects, my mission is to encourage people, celebrate life’s meaningful moments, and remind others that hope can be found even in the most challenging seasons.
